Free Yoga Series for Masters

RHWB, in collaboration with Fitness Kriya, is delighted to offer a free yoga series for seniors (65+) in our extended RHWB family.

Each 60-minute session includes gentle movement, breathwork, guided relaxation, and both chair and mat options—designed to improve flexibility, strength, and balance in a safe, supportive environment. Classes are led by experienced instructor Kavya and tailored specifically for seniors.

Wednesdays at 8:00 AM EST (6:30 PM IST; 5:30 PM IST starting March 15)

5K Samosa Run and Resolution Relay

This year we are adding on a resolution relay to the popular 5K Samosa Run mid-March.

Resolution Relay: Miles for Mental Health is a first of its kind fundraiser relay race led by your own RHWB coaches and senior runners to drive Mental Health Awareness and support for our community. See https://www.rhwbevents.org/miles-for-mental-health

Mental Health: Make it yours and your families top priority!

We at RHWB are about driving holistic health - Physical and mental. This year we will launch many initiatives to help support our community. If you have any ideas, please reach out with your suggestions to our Chief People Officer - Renuka Balaji (+1215-840-6165)

Here are the list of resources for you to help in that journey:

  1. RHWB's 'Mental Health Helpline'. Connect with Dr. Sumanth — a licensed professional and fellow RHWB runner — who is available to listen and offer guidance in a confidential, supportive space.

  2. SAMAJ: In partnership with NAMI NJ, SAMAJ offers in-person resources across New Jersey as well as virtual support accessible from anywhere.

  3. SAAFC: Based in Philadelphia, SAAFC promotes community mental health awareness, education, and healing spaces. They also provide direct counseling services.

  4. Looking for a therapist?: Check out this directory for finding good South Asian therapists who can relate to you better and offer help. Psychology today lets you filter by language, type and insurance as well

The key to mental health is to know 'YOU ARE NOT ALONE! We are here to help'.

In the Pipeline

  1. 45+ RHWB runners are getting ready for an expedition to Everest Base Camp led by Coach Bala from June 25-July 8th, 2026.

  2. The 3rd iteration of 'Marathon Vacations' program planning is underway. Possible location- South of France (first week of September 2026). More info will be shared in due course.

  3. Planning is underway for our next iteration of 'Rendezvous - An RHWB Retreat'. Mark your calendar Oct 2-4. Registration will open in July/August.
