I live in New Jersey and have two grown kids—one in medical school and the other a sophomore in college in Los Angeles. My husband is also a marathoner, and his journey began with his first half marathon with RHWB, which makes running a shared passion in our family.

I was not an athlete growing up, but I wasn’t a stranger to the gym either. For years, my workouts were light—casual walks on the treadmill, walks outdoors, and some light lifting. It wasn’t until my 40s that I decided to take fitness to the next level. Around this time, I also discovered tennis, which became my gateway to a more active lifestyle. From there, I committed to working out at least five days a week, embracing structured training, and I’ve never looked back. Today, physical fitness and nutrition are core parts of my life, and I value them deeply.

My running journey started later as well. While I’ve been running on and off for over a decade, I truly embraced long-distance running in 2021 during RHWB Season 7, when I ran my first half marathon. Soon after, I took on the Philly Half Marathon with my husband—a milestone that solidified my love for racing. Since then, I’ve completed multiple half marathons, including the unforgettable Big Sur Half.

I credit my active lifestyle to the habits I’ve built over the years and the incredible community I’m surrounded by—friends and family who inspire me with their dedication to fitness. Their influence, combined with my own drive to constantly challenge myself, has shaped the runner and coach I am today.

Beyond running, I’m deeply passionate about all things fitness. I’m an avid yogi, a tennis enthusiast, and a strong advocate for strength training, which has greatly improved my endurance and running efficiency. When I’m not running, you’ll find me on the tennis court, practicing yoga, lifting heavy weights, or hiking scenic trails in the Northeast. Tennis continues to be a sport I love, and it complements my strength and endurance training beautifully. I also enjoy running during my vacations, exploring new places on foot, but my favorite spot will always be long-distance routes in and around my hometown in New Jersey.

I used to dread long runs—but now, they’re my favorite part of training. Running has become my “me time,” filled with podcasts, audiobooks, and reflection. As an RHWB coach, I want to help others discover that same joy, confidence, and sense of accomplishment. Whether you’re working toward your first 5K or a half marathon, I’m here to guide and cheer you on every step of the way.

I’m a curious learner and love exploring new skills and ideas. I enjoy reading, traveling (especially destination races!), and music—Carnatic, fusion, dancing and everything in between. I’m a Carnatic singer, a live concert enthusiast, and a huge movie and web series buff. Most of all, I value time with family and friends, whether it’s sharing a good meal or planning our next adventure.
