Kayal Aravindan is a tech enthusiast who graduated from Rutgers University in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistics. She is currently working as an Analyst at Burlington Stores, where she enjoys the intersection of data analytics and the fast-paced world of retail. Over the years, she has had the privilege of contributing to RHWB behind the scenes on a variety of technology initiatives, and she is excited to continue showcasing her work as a member of the RHWB Tech Team.
Kayal is passionate about AI, data analytics, and web development, and she enjoys finding innovative ways to solve problems through technology. Her journey with RHWB began not in tech, but as a runner. She joined RHWB during Season 8, introduced by her parents, Arvind (who is also part of the Tech Team) and Kanchana, who both joined in Season 5. Three seasons later, Kayal and her two sisters, Ani and Nila, decided to join the fun and see what all the excitement was about.
Growing up, Kayal was always an athletic child who loved playing all kinds of sports, but running never came naturally to her. It took a lot of courage to join a running program, but after four seasons with RHWB, she can't imagine her life without it. Running has become a form of therapy, and she now finds herself looking forward to every opportunity to lace up her shoes and hit the road.
When Kayal isn't at her laptop or out for a run, she can usually be found reading a good book or spending time with her dog, Hazel—her whole world and best friend. She also loves to travel and experience the world by exploring different countries, immersing herself in new cultures, and, as a self-proclaimed foodie, trying local cuisines wherever she goes. She enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors whenever she gets the chance.
Kayal is excited to continue her journey with RHWB as both a runner and a member of the Tech Team, and she looks forward to continuing to contribute, learn, and grow alongside the incredible RHWB community.
