"Run Slow to Run Fast."

Abhishek was introduced to running in 2016 by a colleague, a half marathoner who had traveled to Houston to compete in a half marathon event. Recognizing the health benefits of running, Abhishek decided to give it a try. His love for nature, being outdoors, and breathing fresh air fueled his passion, leading him to gradually progress from running 5Ks to 10Ks, from 10Ks to half marathons, and eventually to full marathons.

In December 2020, Abhishek was introduced to RHWB. Over time, RHWB's structured program helped him build core and muscle strength, learn proper running techniques, and achieve respectable finish times in both half and full marathons without injury or pain.

Over his 8 years of running, Abhishek has completed 11 marathons and over 100 half marathons. Throughout his journey, he has learned to respect the sport, avoid overtraining, and run for personal fulfillment rather than for stats or the expectations of others.

Abhishek's approach to coaching is grounded in understanding detailed running metrics and adopting a science-based perspective on improvement, with a strong emphasis on nutrition and strength training to prevent injuries. He finds it fascinating how runners in RHWB inspire, support, and celebrate each other's achievements.
