"Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are!" - Kurt Cobain
Aakansh Mysore is a 17-year-old rising senior in high school who lives in Westford, MA, with his family. His parents, Sapna and Shridhar, are both veterans of RHWB, and his younger sister, Aanika, is also a runner within the program. Aakansh is deeply involved with the Runner's High family and loves interacting with and being a part of the RHWB community.
With a strong interest in computer science, Aakansh dedicates much of his free time to helping with the technology side of Runner's High, serving as the youngest member of the RHWB Tech team. Over the past few seasons, he has taken on the responsibility of generating bibs for all RHWB runners and creating personalized certificates at the end of each season. His involvement grew as he delved deeper into tech, refining image generation code, managing and sending mass emails, editing the website's user interface, and more.
Outside of his work with software, Aakansh enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games and sports, engaging in robotics, hiking, and exploring new ideas in the STEM field. He has completed numerous hikes in the White Mountains and has trekked to Everest Base Camp and the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal with family and friends. Aakansh hopes to continue contributing to RHWB’s growth and believes that his role in the organization has provided him with invaluable skills and lessons that he will carry into college and beyond.
Aakansh is excited about the future and looks forward to further expanding his contributions to the RHWB community.
