"A Run Begins The Moment You Forget You Are Running."
Sridhar is an RRCA certified coach based out of Edison, New Jersey. Sridhar started with RHWB back in January of 2020. His wife, daughter, and dog Hazel are also in this program. Sridhar had completed numerous half marathons and completed the Chicago Full Marathon in 2022.
Sridhar loves traveling and destination runs. Recently, he went to Denmark and ran almost 60 miles in 4 cities. Sridhar believes running gives him limitless opportunities to find gems hidden in plain sight. While doing destination runs, he loves to stop for a quick bite at a café, and take pictures at a busy square, and love running on cobblestone streets and quaint alleys. Last year, he had another destination run experience at a hill-station town of Yercaud, India. Awestruck by these beautiful places, it is easier to run without counting miles and looking at the time. The travel experiences have become more immersive, as a result of running. Sridhar is a fan of hill runs and high-altitude aerobic training which helps correct your form while building cardiovascular capacity.
Sridhar feels this program has transformed him inside out. This is the first time in his life that he was able to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way without having to starve. He loves playing tennis. As a result of fitness gained through running, he is now quicker on the court. Mentally, he is ready to play longer points knowing that it is unlikely his opponent will out-endure him.
He is an avid audiobook & podcast listener. While running, he is always listening to audiobooks and podcasts. Over the past 2 years, he has listened to more than 200 hours of audio content, mostly non-fiction.

Even though he started his journey with RHWB as a reluctant runner, he is now addicted to running. This sport has given him so much in the form of unforgettable experiences, physical and mental health, thoughtful perspectives, and lifelong friends. Sridhar believes that running is continuing to transform him one day at a time. His goal is to keep running without injuries for the rest of his life.

Coaching Philosophy: Sridhar's approach to coaching is focused on understanding the runner and adopting a science-based view to improvement with a lot of focus on nutrition, and strength training. Sridhar instills the focus on personal safety and Injury avoidance.
Sridhar realized the potential in me and pushed me to move to the higher goal than what I thought I was capable of. True respect!

Sridhar adopts a data-driven and scientific approach when providing feedback and coming up with race day strategies. Sridhar engages and keeps the cohort bound and motivated.
Coach Sridhar's guidance was quite valuable when I was struggling at the start of mesocycle 3. After a timely call with the coach, I was able to problem-solve and analyze where I could improve (mainly nutrition and hydration) for every run from there on. I could thus complete my HM training and also successfully attained my race day goal.
Without Sridhar’s feedback and guidance, I may have dropped from the program.
